DARLINGe at EUSEW policy session: 7th June 2018 | Coupling efficiency and renewables with security of heat supply

DARLINGe project was invited to take part at the EU Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels, on 5-7 June. DARLINGe's session is covering various aspects of renewables and their uptake in the heating (and cooling) sector, strongly associated with the topics of energy efficiency. In addition to addressing the role of biomass and waste-heat, the main focus of the session will be on geothermal energy and its role in the decarbonisation of the heating sector.

Summary of the 4th Stakeholder seminar - 'Can we complete gas market integration in the Danube Region by 2020?'
The 4th Stakeholder Seminar of the ‘Sustainable energy’ priority area (PA2) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region was held in Brussels on 5 December 2017 at the premises of the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the European Union, with the participation of energy experts from the Danube Region countries and EU institutions.

A successful Annual Forum closed the Hungarian Presidency of the Danube Region Strategy
The 6th Annual Forum of the Danube Region Strategy, titled ‘A Secure, Connected and Prospering Danube Region’, was held on 18-19 October in the Budapest Congress Center. The conference was jointly organized by the Hungarian Presidency of the Strategy and the European Commission. 1100 participants from 29 countries had the possibility to meet and discuss a number of strategically selected topics.
