Seminar on Energy efficiency and RES deployment in SMEs

The primar focus of the seminar is to pass on practical information related to energy efficiency projects in small to medium enterprises, taking deployment of renewable energy sources into account. The event will take place in Prague, on the Straka Academy (the seat of the Government of the Czech Republic), on the 7th of June 2018.

INTERREG EUROPE – 4TH CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS IS OPEN UNTIL 22 JUNE 2018
The fourth and last call for proposals for interregional cooperation projects opened on 7 May. The Interreg Europe programme contributes to the EU's cohesion policy and the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy by supporting policy learning among relevant organisations. Related to the strategy, applicants are invited to submit proposals under one of the four priority axes (innovation, economic development, low-carbon economy, environment). Public authorities, public law bodies and private non-profit bodies are eligible to receive all the remaining ERDF and Norwegian funds for projects.

DARLINGe at EUSEW policy session: 7th June 2018 | Coupling efficiency and renewables with security of heat supply

DARLINGe project was invited to take part at the EU Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels, on 5-7 June. DARLINGe's session is covering various aspects of renewables and their uptake in the heating (and cooling) sector, strongly associated with the topics of energy efficiency. In addition to addressing the role of biomass and waste-heat, the main focus of the session will be on geothermal energy and its role in the decarbonisation of the heating sector.
