6th Regional Energy Startegy Task Force Meeting of the Energy Community

Chief Advisor Istvan Joó will be representing Priority Area 2 at the Energy Community Regional Energy Strategy Task Force meeting on the 25th of January, 2013 in Vienna. Energy Community is a strategic partner to the Priority Area 2 since there is a significant overlap between the goals and the territorial coverage of the two initiatives.

The second Danube Region Financing Dialogue, organized by Priority Area 10, is a forum for Small and Medium Enterprises and financiers to discuss financing of promising projects in the Danube Region. At the same time it is also a great opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the priority areas of the Danube Region Strategy.

Danube Region Gas Storage model to be presented in the North-South Gas Working Group
Szilárd Árvay, advisor of Priority Area 2, will take part in the next meeting of the North-South Gas Working group in Brussels. The Priority Area 2 was granted as observer of the regional group, in order to channel the common position of the Danube-countries to the WG.

The first Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region is going to take place in Regensburg on 27-28 November, 2012. The Workshop 2 - Energy for a Modern Danube Region is coordinated by the Energy Priority Area of the EUSDR.
